בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ וַיֶּחֱזַ֥ק הָרָעָ֖ב בָּעִ֑יר וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה לֶ֖חֶם לְעַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃
Pada tanggal sembilan bulan itu, kelaparan makin hebat di kota, dan tidak ada lagi roti bagi rakyat negeri itu.

On the ninth day of the [fourth] month the famine was sore in the city: It is not explained in which month, however in the book of Jeremiah it is explained that this was the fourth month on the ninth of the month. (Jeremiah 39:2)
